Stainless Steel Mighty Springs Installation Steps & Best Practices:
Start by threading the stainless banding through the spring base slot and folding it back. Crimp a 3/4″ seal to secure the band end, then wrap the band to the next spring and repeat until it circles the object. While tightening, compress each spring about 1/2″ (12.7 mm) and keep stresses evenly distributed. For large OD pipes or tanks, use closed or lap-over seals and add more springs as needed. In corrosive or marine settings, choose 316 stainless steel for better resistance.
