Mity/Mighty springs pair with stainless banding and 3/4″ wing seals to secure metal jacketing or insulation on piping, tanks, and vessels, thereby allowing controlled thermal expansion and contraction

Installation & Usage Guidelines
- First, thread the stainless banding through the slot at one end of the spring base and fold it back over the slot.
- Next, crimp a 3/4″ seal (wing or closed seal) to secure the band end.
- Then, extend the band around the object to the next spring and repeat until the full circumference is encircled.
- Finally, while tensioning, compress each spring about 1/2″ (12.7 mm) (1/4″ per half) and ensure compression and band stresses are evenly distributed around the circumference to avoid local overload.
- For large OD pipe/tanks, use closed or lap-over seals as required and increase spring count according to max compression.
- Choose 316 SS for corrosive or marine environments
