Fiber optic cleaning pen is a great choose for ferrule cleaning. It does well in quickly removing dirt, пил, oil and grease from fiber optic adapters. We have two types cleaning pen. One is for 2.5mm SC, FC, ST connector, the other one is for 1.25mm LC MU connector. You can choose them according to your request.

нормально, in optical communication system, we always can find that the optical loss was doubled. Sometimes the optical sign was cut off and the network connection failed. These are all due to the large amount of invisible dirt on the fiber end face. So in this situation, we need to fiber optic cleaning pen to do the cleaning work. Now we are going to talk about the notes on using them and storing them.

Notes on usage:

1. Do not try to disassemble as this can cause damage to them.
2. Don’t reuse cleaning cloth as this will reduce its cleaning ability.
3. Do not touch the cleaning cloth as this will cause contamination.
4. Don’t pull the cleaning cloth, use one the device body.
5. Do not use this cleaning pen when the cloth is empty, as this can cause damage to the connector.

Notes on storage:

1. Don’t expose device to direct sunlight, high temperature or high humidity.
2. The cover on the guide cap should be closed at all times when cleaning pen is not in use.

How to use fiber optic cleaning pen?

There are two situation we use the cleaning pen. One is for connector inside adapter, the other one is for connector plugs alone.

For connector inside adapter

1. Remove Guide Cap from the device.
2. Insert tip of cleaner into adapter.
3. Push the Outer Shell to start cleaning connetor end face. When we heared a “натисніть” sound, it shows the end of cleaning pross. Close the cover.

For connector plugs alone

1. Open the Cover on the Guide Cap. Shown in above picture.
2. Insert connector into the Guide Cap.
3. Push the Outer Shell to start cleaning connetor end face. When we heared a “натисніть” sound, it shows the end of cleaning pross. Close the cover.
